Schultz Engineered Products has established a manufacturing facility in Edgewater, Florida, having leased a 10,000 square foot building at the Massey Ranch Airpark. The plant will operate in addition to its original manufacturing facility in New Jersey. The Edgewater, Florida facility will have 16 employees at an average annual wage of $42,000. The capital investment in the project is $2,790,000.
Schultz Engineered Products was assisted by Team Volusia, which provided real estate analysis, workforce assistance and counseling on incentive programs. Team Volusia was able to connect the company with the local real estate company, selling and leasing land in Massey Ranch Airpark, allowing the company the opportunity to house the manufacturing operations at a site with airfield access.
Since 1995 Schultz Engineered Products has been in the business of designing, fabricating, and manufacturing a comprehensive line of products for the aviation fuel handling industry. The company has more than 20,000 manufactured fueling products in service throughout the United States and around the world.
